Meet Our Founder
Brian Boyce
MHA, BSHS, CPC-I, CRC, Cert. Clinical Bioethics
CEO & President - Refinica
Brian is a healthcare executive with over 30 years of experience in areas including health administration, clinical operations, quality improvement, and physician practice management. He began focusing on population health and risk adjustment in 2008, and is well known as the original author of the CRC® curriculum and creator of the TAMPER acronym used nationally. A U.S. Air Force and Desert Storm veteran, he began his healthcare career providing clinical care in aeromedical evacuation.
He holds a Master’s in Health Administration (MHA) from The George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health, and a Bachelor’s in Health Sciences, with a concentration in Public Health Administration from Old Dominion University, and is certified in Clinical Bioethics from Georgetown University.

Our proprietary medical coding team members are often referred to as “coding ninjas.” They are the best in the business, have over 5 years of experience, and are carefully hand selected for their experience, accuracy, and deep knowledge in many areas of coding work.
